Delivery and Use
Policies
|
All IMS Media items are delivered via IMS Delivery or UPS. (On-site, over-counter
delivery and return is also always available during operating hours from 8:00 am to
4:00
pm Monday through Friday.)
If By IMS:
- IMS will deliver to and retrieve from your site on the same day each week. (Day is
assigned by IMS)
- IMS will deliver and retrieve only at the drop point that you designate.
- IMS often arrives at your site before 8:00 a.m. on your delivery day, therefore have
your due items at the drop point the evening before.
- Items not available for retrieval at the drop point when the route specialist arrives
must be returned by the site or client on the date due.
- Site calendars must be provided to IMS indicating your closed dates before any IMS
deliveries will be made.
- Your site's drop point must be open to IMS on your delivery day. (Unless indicated on
your site calendar.)
- IMS will not stop at your site if no IMS Media item is to be delivered or retrieved.
- IMS automatically creates two-week retention periods for items that would otherwise fall
on your site's closed dates. (Three-week retention periods are not automatically created,
and generally are not allowed.)
- IMS attempts to deliver and retrieve the next business day following a snow day. In the
case of successive snow days, special arrangements are made by phone.
If By UPS:
- UPS will deliver to your site's designated parcel location on or before your requested
show date.
- IMS sends a Merchandise Return Label for your convenience in returning IMS media items.
(Usually this is the reverse side of the mailing address card. Simply turn it around and
drop in any U.S. Mail Box.)
- IMS may issue a UPS call-tag to retrieve an IMS package. If so, please match the Call
Tag numbers. (Be sure that UPS retrieves the correct package, or you will be responsible
for returning the item(s).)
- UPS attempts three retrievals of Call Tag items, after which you will be responsible for
returning the item(s) on your own.
IMS Media Use Policies:
- IMS hours of operation are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. CST, Monday through Friday.
- Each item is reserved to all clients for one-week (7 days) periods, unless special
arrangements are made based upon an item's availability or site calendar.
- Late fees of $3.00 per day per item may be assessed on all items returned late.
IMS may suspend or discontinue service to customers who, in IMS's opinion, have frequent
late items.
- Titles ordered that have differing due dates will be shipped in separate packages at
additional cost to customer.
- Titles must be returned on or before their due date in their original shipping package.
No extensions will be allowed under any circumstances.
- Damaged or lost material will be replaced at cost to client or site. Borrower agrees to
hold harmless and indemnify IMS from and against any and all liability, damage, cost, and
expenses incurred in connection with its use of any materials received from IMS.
- No admission or other fees may be charged with showing materials received from IMS, or
for any commercial purpose whatsoever.
- No media material, in whole or in part, may be copied for any reason.
- No public broadcast may be made of any item received from IMS.
- IMS may modify or improve any part of its service at any time without prior notice. IMS
reserves the right to request additonal information, reject any applications, or cancel
any membership. Applicable sales tax witll be added to all orders.
